Performing since the age of five, Sophia Zamani has developed a unique sound straddling country and alternative sensibilities. Her captivating voice, thoughtful songwriting skills, and undeniable passion for music initially caught the attention of Bruce Springsteen’s in-house producer, Ron Aniello. With his help, Sophia was able to take her first steps into the music industry and has worked alongside some incredible musicians, songwriters and producers including David Baron (The Lumineers, Michael Marcagi, David Kushner) and Emily Lazar (Maggie Rogers, Brittany Howard, Coldplay).

Shelter From The Rain is Sophia's first full body of work which includes songs recorded and mixed by David Baron (The Lumineers, Michael Marcagi, David Kushner) and more recently, newer material worked on with producer Trevor Thornton at Blackbird studios in Nashville, TN.  

Shelter From The Rain was mastered by GRAMMY-award winner,  Emily Lazar (Maggie Rogers, Brittany Howard, Coldplay).
